• Attend to basic self-care and balance work, play and rest.

  • Identify specific difficulties – personal history or coping behaviors.
  • Engage in relationships and activities that restore hope.
  • Learn mindfulness or relaxation.
  • Know yourself.
  • Develop other interests outside work.
  • Do things that bring you into your body – run, stretch, walk, do yoga, dance.
  • Learn your own tolerance then set the boundaries.
  • If you have a spiritual practice, use it to support your work.
